The latest production and sales data released by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) shows that heavy-duty truck sales in 2024 reached 901,697 units nationwide, marking a 1.03% year-on-year decline and slightly lower than 2023 figures.
Meanwhile, the list of top 10 manufacturers by sales volume has been announced.

In terms of sales volume, SINOTRUK ended the year with 245,031 vehicles, making it the only enterprise with a sales volume exceeding 200,000 vehicles for the whole year; In addition, there are three other enterprises with sales volume exceeding 100,000 units, namely FAW Jiefang, Shacman and Dongfeng Trucks, with sales volume of 182,808 units, 150,285 units and 144,807 units respectively.
In 2025, the policy of subsidizing the elimination of trucks will continue and the scope will be expanded, with the National Standard IV vehicles entering the scope of subsidies. It is believed that the successive implementation of policies in various regions is expected to stimulate market demand and promote the healthy development of the heavy-duty truck market.
